Perry World House Kicks off 10th Anniversary Celebrations
This year, Perry World House (PWH) celebrates its 10th anniversary of advancing global policy engagement at the University of Pennsylvania.
Since opening its doors in 2016, PWH has become a leader at bridging the gap between academia and the policy world in Washington DC, New York, and around the world. PWH is a hub for research, actionable policy proposals, and student engagement, providing unique opportunities for Penn students and faculty, and generating impact on the world’s most prominent stages. We focus on some of the world’s most challenging global policy questions, bringing together world leaders, scholars, practitioners, and students from across the globe to generate solutions and foster collaboration. PWH’s current work focuses on four main areas: climate change, democracy, global justice and human rights, and security.
As we mark this milestone, we look forward to celebrating the extraordinary community that has made this work possible. We hope you’ll join us on November 11, 2026 for our 10th Anniversary Gala, and on November 11 and 12, 2026 for our First Annual Conference.
More anniversary programming and reflections will be shared throughout the year, and together, we look forward to celebrating this milestone and shaping the conversations at PWH and Penn that will define the years ahead.
Warmly,
Michael C. Horowitz, Faculty Director
Marie Harf, Executive Director
Michael Weisberg, Deputy Director
