Eva Bordos is an expert in citizen engagement with nearly two decades of experience working in international environments across public administration, diplomacy, and civil society. She has a strong track record in designing, coordinating, and supporting deliberative mini-publics across Europe, advancing participatory democracy in diverse contexts. Among other roles, she has provided process design and technical assistance to the Council of Europe, as well as the OSCE Presence in Albania, and has trained public officials and NGO representatives in Türkiye, Ukraine, Czechia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Eva is also a 2025 Eisenhower Global Fellow.  She is currently the Executive Director of DemNet Hungary, an independent NGO. She holds MA degrees in law from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and in political science from Central European University (CEU), and is pursuing a PhD in political science at the University of Potsdam, focusing on citizen engagement in constitutional processes. In addition, she lectures at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, where she teaches an elective MA course on deliberative democracy.
