Denis Tchaouchev

Denis Tchaouchev studies the historical political economy of war, with a focus on the role of technology and technological change. He is also interested in formal models of international politics and the effect of war on redistribution. Tchaouchev holds a PhD in political science and an MS in computational and mathematical engineering from Stanford University, as well as a BA in computer science and political science from Columbia University. Prior to graduate school, he developed fraud detection algorithms at Mastercard.
