Nurses comprise the largest percentage of healthcare workers across the globe and are uniquely positioned to advance health for all. The International Council of Nurses (ICN) represents nursing worldwide and promotes the well-being of nurses and to advocates for health in all policies. As CEO of ICN since 2019, Catton influences and informs the design and implementation of health, social, educational, and economic policies at a global and regional level while amplifying the role of nurses in addressing global health issues.
